Entelligently is the platform that truly connects people to their building. Unlike typical ‘smart buildings’ that make automated decisions without considering occupant feedback, Entelligently places the occupant at the forefront. It directly asks, “Are you comfortable?” and adjusts accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditional Building Management Systems are often configured once by a contractor who then departs, leaving no consideration for the occupants’ needs or activities. Additionally, these systems rarely account for changing weather conditions, which affect our clothing choices, behavior, and overall comfort in the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By prioritizing occupant comfort, Entelligently not only enhances wellbeing but also reduces energy consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Problem does Entelligently solve?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Entelligently addresses three key issues that current smart buildings face. First, they often overlook the needs of the people residing and working within them. Second, the sensor data lacks context from a human perspective. Finally, facilities teams cannot immediately communicate important information to occupants, often relying on tannoy notifications and messages displayed in reception\u2014methods that are neither real-time, responsive, targeted, nor personalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entelligently solves these problems by providing personalised predictions of pending comfort. It offers occupants actionable advice on maintaining a comfortable, productive, and energy-efficient workplace. Privacy and GDPR compliance are ensured through a clear consent notice presented to the user, provided by Consentua<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does Entelligently work?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The process begins with the easy capture of your comfort levels. In just three clicks, users can record their comfort, the reason for any discomfort (e.g., too hot), and the action taken (e.g., opened a window). This regular recording of comfort data builds the system’s intelligence, allowing it to predict the most comfortable range for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we capture the comfort range for each occupant, Entelligently compares this data against incoming weather information. It predicts the likelihood of the comfort range being breached and, if necessary, sends a smart nudge or ‘Snudge’ to the building occupant. This Snudge suggests actions to prevent discomfort, such as opening a window or adding a layer of clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can assign each room or zone its own Entelligently identity, allowing the system to identify the most comfortable setting for that area based on user feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s all in the cloud!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Entelligently is a cloud-hosted web app that utilizes a mix of AI services. These include a chatbot to capture your comfort level and data analysis to predict your comfort. The predictions are most effective when user data is combined with internal Building Management System (BMS) data and external sensor data. Useful data points include temperature, humidity, light levels, occupancy, and CO2 levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BMS provides energy use data and serves as the control center for changing the building’s environmental settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We present the data through dashboards to both end users and building owners or managers. These dashboards display comfort trends, predict likely comfort outcomes, and show current comfort scores in real-time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
