Press Release KnowNow Information travel to Malaysia for UK Government Trade Mission

18th November 2016, Portsmouth, UK.

KnowNow Information is delighted to be travelling to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next week to join a group representing high growth UK companies at a technology Trade Mission organised by the Department for International Trade (DIT).

KnowNow Information were selected earlier this year to be an inaugural member of the DIT’s Company Sub-Sector Support Programme, an initiative designed to help high growth UK businesses expand into targeted export markets. The aim is to deliver £350m of new export revenue for UK companies through collaboration with Malaysian organisations in the chosen priority sub-sectors.

During the visit, KnowNow will talk about its innovative privacy and consent management system, Consentua, to over 200 Malaysian companies whilst also demonstrating results of consulting provided over the last two years to the development of a new financial district in Kuala Lumpur.

David Patterson, KnowNow Information's Managing Director commented. “We have been working in Malaysia for the last two years so it was a natural choice for the first international deployment of our new Consentua service. The Malaysian market represents a significant opportunity for us to expand our presence in the Asia PAC region. We are particularly keen to forge new partnerships with the banking industry, telecoms providers and the public sector, who will all benefit from the greater level of trust that Consentua creates between data owners and data consumers."
